Dear readers, I feel like I’m getting lazy with all these no-bake recipes. But isn’t sneaking gobs of unbaked dough one of the best parts of chocolate chip cookie consumption? This recipe combines that sinful pastime with a creamy fudge delivery vehicle, and without the risky business of raw eggs!
Yield: 36 fudge squares (9×9 in. baking pan)
Ingredients / Brands Tested
- 1 cup brown sugar
Supermaxi brand - 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
Nutri Mantequilla Sin Sal - 1 tsp. vanilla
Bon Gourmet vainilla - 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
Cris-Sal Sal Marina Kosher - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Harina Buena y Barata Harina de trigo fortificada para todo uso Especial Para Panadería y Pastelería - 1 cup chocolate chips
Smart Selection Gotas Sabor a Chocolate - 397 g (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
la Original Leche Condensada - 261 g (approx. 1 1/2 cups) white chocolate chips, melted
Cober Choc Gotas Sabor a Chocolate Blanco
Directions
Line a 9×9 inch baking dish with parchment paper. [I’m not sure you really have to do this, but it makes fudge removal and cutting and cleanup a lot easier.]
In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar and butter until creamy.
Add vanilla and salt; mix until combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips, saving some to sprinkle on top at the end.

Melt the white chocolate chips. This can be done using a double boiler or the microwave, but I heated mine up over low heat on my stovetop, stirring constantly.

Combine the sweetened condensed milk and the melted white chocolate in a medium bowl.
Fold the white chocolate mixture into the cookie dough mixture.

Pour the combined fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with the chocolate chips you saved earlier.

Refrigerate until firm (approx. 2 hours).
Remove from the fridge and invert the pan onto a cutting board, gently peeling the parchment paper away from the fully set fudge. Cut into four smaller squares, and cut each of those into nine equal pieces.
